Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Waterfront Museum

Waterfront Museum overlooks Poole Quay. Set in buildings dating from the medieval period it tells the story of Poole's seafaring past. The visitor can learn of the Roman occupation and see material raised from the Studland Bay wreck. The story is told using modern audiovisual techniques, hands-on and traditional museum displays. The museum has a lift and facilities for the disabled and Tourist Information Centre. The town cellars contains the local history centre with information relating to the history of the town and its people.
